Cotton eyed Joe
Try lubing your cable. Drop a little bit of oil down the cable from the perch. If that doesn't do it, check for a bound cable somewhere. It could just be full of dirt too. Was it always hard to pull?

scotts96fast
There might be heavy duty springs in the clutch......If it's all stock just buy a new cable....
banshee tuner
Take the cable loose from the clutch arm and pull the lever, if the cable cable pulls but will not return you need a cable. If it works fine your problem is internal.
Otis
Buy a Ducati, ride it in rush hour traffic for one day, and you'll have no more complaints about your clutch being stiff....... Yeah i'm no help......
Banshee17Racing
Invest some money into a Magura Hydraulic Clutch. They're pricey, but you'll never regret it. And you have no worries about any type of cable getting bound or full of dirt(no adjusting either). I've seen them on ebay every now and then. You just have to be careful of melting the hose, but you can also spend a little more money and get a stainless steel hose. I went through two aftermarket perches before I saw these. Yaxy
Clutch cables seem to stiffen up fairly quickly. Lubing may work for a few weeks but that is about it. For $10. it is easier to buy a new one every year. Chris
