Ryda85 Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 hey guys...how difficult would it be to put a 2004 r1 engine in a banshee frame Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 im guessin that its a pretty tall engine. im sure it could be done but i think a raptor frame would be a better frame to use. the 660 engine in them is really tall, and it might just be enough space for an r1. im sure there would be some pretty extensive frame modifications to go along with it. firehawk Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 I added an R1 motor to my banshee back in 99...put a twin turbo kit with NOS...dyno'd 252.4993 RWP...talk about FAST, i had to put a +10 swingarm just to keep the beast down.. Quote
banshee04le Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 C'mon dude...I'd of almost believed you until you broke the dyno results down into 10,000's of a horsepower. 252.4993 huh.... .4993 Tell you what, we'll round it up to 253, how'd that be? Quote

banshee04le Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Yes, with proper structural modification. No problem, if your good with a plasma torch and a welder. Quote
