It I can't, what brand have you guys had the most luck with and what length? I usually ride in the sand but have recently started riding some tracks. Quote

robinson373 Posted February 24, 2004 Author Report Posted February 24, 2004 I took the tire off and turned the axle and it was probably about an inch out of round. I am not sure that it could even be straightened. I am short on money since my banshee just ate $1200 last month but it looks like i should buy an aftermarket. Do you guys think that wider would be better, and if so, how much wider? Thanks for the responses Quote

Blue Duece Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 just keep in mind if your riding hard enough to bend axles on a stock swing arm.....and you go LSR with a stock swinger ..next time youll twist your swingarm instead of bending a cheap stock axle and probally tweak your frame right at the swing mount..a real son of a bitch to fix.... limitied03 Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I had the same exact problem with my shee and i bought a durablue...and havent had any problems, all aftermarket axles are gonna be better tha the stock...lonestar,durablue,rpm..its jus a matter of personal preference and $$$$$..... DUNEDEMON Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'll chime in too. I have a durablue x33 adjustable width axle, have'nt had any problems with it. You can't go wrong with any aftermarket axle, they're all an upgrade from stock. If funds are limited, perhaps buy a used stocker in good shape, try the for sale / wanted sections here, or ebay and I'm sure you'll find something. Quote
