the banshee will go anywhere a raptor will go...only faster  . for real! It's damn hard to go slow through tight trails, but I do fine. Takes a little more rider skill to manuever a banshee through some trails compared to a 4-stroke, but once you get used to it, you can laugh when your buddies are bitch'n that they can't keep up with you.

Thats what I thought. I was just thinking to change to a single carb deal for easy jet changes. I've had plenty of two stroke dirt bikes and love the power... Can't wait to pick it up. Also should I do anything else? I really don't have alot of cash right now to do major changes (porting etc). Also how hard is it to tighten the chain? Everyone makes it sound like it is a 4 hrs deal

tightening the chain aint no shit it takes about 5-10 minutes if your moving slow. its no biggie at all but i would get a set of pipes way b4 a single carb set up but for woods i highly highly recomend a noss head with 20cc domes b4 you do anything else. i had a noss head on my last bike and it was one of my favorite mods i did. here is a link to check it out. www.nossmachine.com if you got a stock crank thats not welded and you dont want to run race gas i would recomend keeping the compression under 165 lbs. whats ur elevation? and how much cash you got to work with so we can get you goin on the mods thing.

Tryed that the second day i got it. Bad Idea. Where we ride there isn't places to pass safely. Thanks to a bolder in the weeds I had to buy a new a arm. So for now if it's not for money I'll just stay on there ass. ;)

I've heard the same crap when i got my shee, the sad thing for me though i always gotta stop and wait for the other riders lol. You'll be happy with it slow or fast. They just fear a banshee on trail and try to talk ya out of getting one. Trust me get it and you'll be happy. ;) Thats all i do with mine is trail ride.

I mainly ride trails and i love it. It just takes a lot of skill with a clutch to ride a banshee slow. I'd invest in an EZ-pull system, i have one and it works great. Definitely get a better air filter system too, something that bolts tight to the air box, the stock one is not very good and will allow shit in the engine, i have a pro design proflow adaptor with k&n you can also get the pro design adaptor with a foam filter. Strongly recommended. Like die infidel said my main problem is always having to wait for your buddies to catch up. You also may lose riding buddies because they get pissed off when you roost them or just flat out smoke em.

:D:D . You guys are makin me smile now. I will get a noss head and new pipes. I will also get a single carb and BETTER air filter like you all said. I'm at sea level where I am so I would think 20cc would be ok am I correct? I think that will clean my bank account for now. Is that a good start? Darn how are the rear tires? Should I get razor2's? BIGNASTY1 I love your avatar :D

Some razrs will help a lot. The single carb kit is a great setup for the trails, especially with some midrange pipes, like the fatties. Make sure to splurge for the 35mm so your not too limited later. Fatties are a good bang for the buck. 20cc should be fine. If that doesn't clean your bank account, then you have too much money...

i swear by paul turner mids. i have tried and rode different pipes and another good set i rode are the lrd adjustables.

the mid pipes work really well with the stock carbs, i would wait before you get a 2into1 to see if you like it the way it is.
