bkabina Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 There are a few people on here running them.Ask Nyuk I think he has or had one. Quote
deli sandwich Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Everyone on this site that i know of (including myself) that has them loves. True, you can port the hell out of stock cylinders and get more power, but it won't be anywhere as near as rideable as the cheetahs. Quote
bansheelover Posted January 16, 2004 Author Report Posted January 16, 2004 could i use my cool head or would i need the trinity head im not gonna purchase anything jsut yet, i dont want to split my cases to put in a stroker crank so i would likely only go wiht the 400 monoblock so i can u se my stock crank and case please give me your opinions Matt Quote
Meat_Head Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 You cant use your coolhead with them, the Cheetah top end comes complete with the head, pistons etc... Quote
big_block_banshee Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 in my opinon ur wasting ur time(not to mention money) getting a mono blck top end and not putting a stroked crank in it. if ur gonna put all that money in that badass topend u might as well go ahead and and put a 10 mill in it and make it woop ass. just my .02. 909 Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 is there any specific differences in cheetah's and t-trex's that would affect my choice?? is one designed mainly for dragging? etc or vice versa?is quality an issue with any of them>> You guys ave been great in quick responses to my questions.. Thanks again HQ members Matt The Cheetah is the Trinity variant, has power valves that give you a more ridable powerband. It changes port timong in the lower and midrange then opens up as you hit the top end. The t-rex has no power valve. If you're draggin or hill shootin, you won't need no steenking power valves. Quote
big_block_banshee Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 the first t-rex clyinders didnit not have powervalves, but the newer ones do. ive seen three of them in person. Quote
