06 banshee 2023 Posted January 6 Report Share Posted January 6 Hey guys, I have recently rebuild a banshee engine because of a tranny issue, one of the gears were chipped. Although the tranny was bad, the bike would start up 2nd kick, cold, no choke. now I’ve rebuilt it, but it will only start with choke on after like 50 kicks, and it would rev very high I did a compression test and I’m waiting on the leak down test, compression is 120 and 125 psi, stock motor. spark is great as well, keep in mind that my vent hose is cut at the case and I just have the vent plug, which isn’t fully seated in the case. could it be and air leak or a timing issue with the static and flywheel Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Id start there ( shoulda done that on bench but) Crossover tube back on? did u go through carbs?
