Cotton eyed Joe Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 I have a buddy that started out in 1st with a wheelie, and then he rolled it in 5th. With my gearing I can usually pull the fronts in 4th but its a bitch to do. I'm geared lower than most though at 13/44 and 20" 8 paddle haulers. I haven't seen any bike around here that has pulled the tires past 4th gear, but usually the big boy bikes are at the base of the mountian lined up to drag, not out dicking around. I don't doubt that someone somewhere (even here) has the set up to do it though. Ya never know!!! Hell once I pulled the front wheels on a 3rd gear start on some medium pack dirt at The Knolls sand dunes/riding area and buried the grab bar. Don't know how I managed that one. Quote
