I'm rebuilding the 2003 banshee, looking for a running 421 serval with carbs. If anyone has one they are trying to get rid of let me know. A new setup isn't out of the question but i'm working with a budget. As of right now i need cylinders, head , domes , new carbs , a new clutch if its serval , reeds and throttle cable.Prices would be great thanks in advance. A combo would work best for me , not caring if it's used as long as it's running.

wow, i can't believe i read all that shit....seems like i'm not missing that much..although alot has been said and i dont feel like posting more then 100 words beause i have fat fingers..i want to make this clear im not taking sides although i have ridden a patriot bike a stroker..chase 73's banshee i was impressed by his work i think dan is a quality builder and should be given the respect he has earned.. again im not saying anyone is right or wrong just respect someone who has an extraordinary skill .. someone who pushes the envelope everyday to help innovate products that makes our sport better for everybody..

my fears are confirmed toasted the right side.. piston is all scarred up.. cylinders need to be bored once again. after i cleaned the carbs i took the reeds out to make sure they werent cracked.. i looked in the right cylinder and saw the piston had a few nicks in it, so i pulled the head to make sure the rings were in good shape thats when i started to cry. its toasted.. need a topend kit a bore and new domes ..

thats what i figured clint, either that or the reeds or sketchy plugs im gonna mess with it on my next day off ..

To put it cut and dry i haven't rode my quad since coal fest.. i started it up today the airfilter is dirty and all .. actually the whole quad is dirty .. but after i started it the right side is not producing the same exhaust as the left this is a fresh rebuild maybe with 8 hours on it .. what causes this i'm guessing a clogged pilot jet .. any other opinions are welcome.. throw some out there fellas ..

i got shearers as well the silencers, and stingers look exactly alike.. the expansion pipe is pretty close but not identical...

aight guys, i think my stint in the banshee game is up..im gonna sell this puppy i will personally deliver it to anyone on the east coast if we come to terms on price.. it is an 03.. mods are grand river racing pro port, shearer inframe pipes(chrome), 30 mm mukuni rs carbs , all the hubs and frame are powdercoated , i have 3 swingarms one powdered the same as the frame prismatic black (+4), one stock , and one chrome (+4), .terry cable throttle cable , shiftstar mod, skin graphics,tdr reeds ,the reed cages were also ported by andy at grand river , uni clamp on foam filters ,with outerwears , pd cool head 17cc domes , wiseco .30 over pro light pistons , geko rear paddles stock front tires ...tag handle bars this has alot of billet and chrome any questions post ill try to answer them reasonably.. dont waste my time with stupid offers .. only serious offers reply ... this bike hauls ass .. and if u plan on buying it plan on buying race fuel ..i have only used klotz c-12 in this bike with super techniplate oil .. it is maintained better then most people treat there wives .. if it dont sell i will put it on ebay im in no hurry
