Duece, Ron's not bullshitting you on this. I've seen it myself. While I didn't have a radar to know what the actual speed he was going, I can recognize hauling ass across the sand when I see it. It's not some puney wheelie either, were talking front end in the air. And he wasn't doing one of those "sit your ass way back on the seat wheelies" either. When I saw him, he was doing this standing on the footpegs. It's quite impressive.

PICS??? That would make an awsome desktop.

No way is someone gonna hold a wheelie in 6 th. I can see it might happen if they have some sort of wheelie bar like those trick streetbikes do. but not a legitimate wheelie. Powerband would kill you.

My friend can do a wheelie on his stock banshee and keep the balance point on the 6th. He do that on asphalt. I saw that many times.

I wish. Hell I wish I had it on video, I'd be a $1000.00 richer.

I've seen it, too. I was on the street with my blaster about 9 years ago, had it pinned, and these dudes riding double on a banshee came up next to me on a wheelie, looked at me, and then took off again like I was standing still, until I could'nt see them anymore. I don't know what gear they were in, or how fast they were going, but I was pinned, and they left me...on a wheelie. what does a blaster do, about 55-60?

now whe are gettin carried away......this kids claim was he's poping wheelie's at 75mph.....shit i can ride one balanced through third to about 50 mph......but riding along at 75mph and then getting it up and balanceing a wheelie is a whole nother thing.....when my bike was stock i could crack one through 6th but not sustain it to 75 hell stock it wouldnt even go 75mph......

Blue Duece would you say wheelies are harder to pull with zero preload shocks.  I found that instead of the front end lofting, the front suspension just stretches out and the front tires stay planted to the ground.  Better handling with the front tires on the ground, but wheelie action diminished.

i know what you mean about staying planted they work great are you running a rear ssd also?........i just yank my bars up and stick it and i come right up providing im hooking up...i can sustain my front end to about 11 oclock like nyuk mentioned as long as im on the gas into 5th geared, how i am....but cant balance one out to 75mph, soon as i start coming down, my power wont bring it back up at that speed......maybe i got a couple lemons from yamaha.....or passion and trinity build shitty motors.....

it is very possible to do.... as long as you have a boost bottle & chrome levers!

all these guys with stock bikes can do it, i should have never modded my bike, i think some of us just add 20-30mph to our speed, it looks nicer in a post that way......theres alot of guys on here with stock gearing and pipes doing a 100mph........hell titheads banshee does 120.....so i guess pullin wheelies on bikes that are maxed out at 75 isnt so far fetched after all.....like one of the guys posted i guess its the wind that lifts your bike......i dont think anyones reading the 75mph part..well i take that back nyuk, reas, meat Stan and lefty did......

I am unsure about riding through the gears in a balanced wheelie. However, I do know that riding along next to a stock blaster pinned to grenading point, I stand it up balanced in 5th gear and ride it to 6th and the motor gives out and the front end drops. I do not think that on a banshee I would attempt a run through the gears wheelie. But, I do know that my bike will pull it in 5th without a problem. A hefty tug on the bars is required, but it ain't an issue.... I HIGHLY doubt the 75 MPH balanced wheelie. I know what Nyuk and Reas are sayin. I have seen wheelies such as those mentioned. However, these are power wheelies. balanced wheelies are just that. You don't have to have the power to keep it up there. You would have to maintain a consistent, or nearly consistent speed for it to be considered balanced. Which would mean either pullign the front end up at about 70, and then reaching 75 and holding it there, or pulling it whenever, and reaching 75 and holding it there. On my street bike, I could speed up, slow down, go around mild turns all in a wheelie. One thing that I am unsure if it is even possible would be to downshift in a wheelie while slowing down.

that means finnaly someones making sense boonie......heres the video id like to see, a guy sitting in the back seat of a car with a camcorder panned out wide i see the speedo in the car reading 75mph and out of the left side of the screen comes a banshee on a 45degree angle blipping his throttle passin the car......not a dragster on nitro with his front end at 11 oclock, or a cbr 900 snapping one off at 120..not a guy on a shee gettin one at 50..............id like to see a guy on a banshee riding a wheelie at 75mph......

I see now!!  What I would like to see is a controlled, "balanced" wheelie, while maintaining a consistent 75.......

no you can go faster if you'd like as long as at some point your balanced on a wheelie at 75mph :o
