DuneRat Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 I've been debating on building a old school styled banshee. My father owned one and so did my uncle and i'm really getting a LOT of leads on parts and shit from them. This is kind of the basis of what i can come up with, since i'm gonna dedicate my time to the dunes and sand in general but ideally cruising on the weekends. if you guys have any leads on old school parts let me know. ride.race.live Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 you need to list what you already have and what motor etc... keep list simple... VF4 reeds FMF pipes Stock carbs... etc... Quote

I have the engine built how I like it Lectron carbs K&N clamp air filter Toomey T5 exhaust I'd like to keep the engine simple but I can drop some cash on a billet cover Quote
ride.race.live Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 you need to specify what you really want then... you want show bling... or performance? or chassis upgrades etc... not really clear on what your shooting for when you say "old school" can get a nice 4mil built with shearers / chromed a nice billet head. billet intake boots and lock up see through clutch, billet covers all around etc.... the list can be endless... can go as far as + size stem chromed +2arms round house swinger. braid brake lines . drag cut harness, relocated CDI box to under seat. seat skin. etc.... DuneRat Posted October 9, 2019 Author Report Posted October 9, 2019 I'll probably keep it show blingy but still have it so I can shred it to the ground on the weekends 1 Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 Mattoon and Chariot both sell a lot of shit that is either polished or can be polished. Both are BansheeHQ sponsors also. Quote

You have a stock cylinder? If you're duning this bike, then no. Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Just buy raw SCP and create the burn lines with a torch. 1 Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Arlan, as long as you payhim 1700$ will make pipes for your engine size.Kenny Roberts make some nice hand coned pipes too and for less $$$ iirc.Envoyé de mon SM-G965W en utilisant Tapatalk Quote

Envoyé de mon SM-G965W en utilisant Tapatalk IF I remember correctly... The LED pipes do not work as well on small bore motors. I thought it was shown that you're better off with a stamped pipe like SHEARER FTW 1 Quote
SKEETER Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Who cares if they work. They're BIG Quote
