Race gas vs alcohol, pros and cons

Needing knowledge on just what the title says. Went to some dirt drags this weekend and had a guy tell me alcohol was cheaper ( by far) than race gas. If this is true why would people run 110 or whatever? Is there a difference in gas mileage? Is there any more wear and tear on a motor with one or another? Anything else one should consider before deciding on what to run?

#1 is self explanatory.

#2- you will burn twice the alcohol.

#3- not sure, but you have to have good compatible oil for your premix.

#4- You have to drain and purge the alcohol from the bike before putting it away.

#5- Alcohol likes to absorb water when it sits around.

if its a trail bike/ play bike (which i think it is because ive seen him post about his setup before) pump gas it, the gains between pump and race fuel arent really going to justify the cost of it.  Unless you dont mind paying over twice as much for gas everytime plus more oil then go for it

Yeah, that's why I goes with 100LL, here the fuel is very $$$ and race fuel is off the chart and i actually ride my Banshee, so 100LL is a good alternative between 92 and race fuel.
