Billet or high strength shift forks?

Wasn't that ECATV having the billit forks made? Weren't they a flop?

 

There are fella's making some pretty serious horsepower and still using OEM forks. Seems to me forks are a bit of a disposable/maintainence item once you are running an over ride and making good power.

You always have to have consumables parts somewhere. So it's waste shift forks or trannys.. if you are eating shift forks it's because you are back loading the trans. Learn how to properly use the tranny and shift forks will last a long time.. jmo
