cam2 Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 i weigh 220+ with gear on and my shee sags quite a bit and i was wondering if i can just change the spring to a stiffer one in order to compensate for the extra weight because i can't afford to buy an entire shock assembly. thanks. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Yes you can. Eibach sells them for about 100 bucks. Call them and find out which one you need because iddiots at the place I got mine did not get it strong enough and I bottom out sometimes and it hurts my back. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 did you already set it to the stiffest setting on the stocker Quote

frocashmoney24 Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 are you talkin the back shock? theres a lil nob on once side of it and it'll have a arrow going one way for soft, and the other for hard, the front will be a lil more difficult.... Quote
stu35 Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Fro, You just told him to increase the compression rate of the shock - which will help him as well. He can also increase the preload on the spring by turning the collar on top of the spring down. You need to first loosen the locking ring. Quote
