Everone always say suspension first, but i say f that. Get your top end ported and a fresh set of pistons, timing plate, good clutch and hang on. Your t5 will work well with a decent port job.

Elks stage 3s and some good a-arms. Suspension > horsepowers.

 

However you need to have funds set a side for top ends, bottom end and other repairs/maintenance that comes up before mods.

100% honest statement here.... Fuck suspension for trail riding. May banshee has triple rate works shocks that are old as dirt and probably need rebuilt. I rode a raptor 700 with long travel arms and elkas and although they were a little better are they worth all that money? Not to me.

I remember everything! You were faster with the r2s also I bet you miss them. I will say one of my favorite topends I ever had was a stock port with "super stock" pistons.
