it's ironic how that's the cylinder that won't fire right it's gotta be that. I rejetted put fresh fuel in got rid of the tors clipped some wire off the coil wires it has good spark and compression that has to be my issue

I know boost bottles are junk I bet that's what caused it in the 1st place. all they do is take up space. is it possible to delete the crossover all together?

Yes. You can buy aftermarket intakes or just plug them off when you get new boots.

I heard people used cane tips and said they work. what are the benefits of having the crossover I assume it's there for good reason since it came stock like that

and btw the shee also tales forever to start unless I spray carb spray in the intake it fires right up and fires on both cylinders for a second then either it just starts running on one cylinder or shuts off completely. does this sound like an air leak symptom? at wot it hits powerband and flies but it won't idle smooth on both cylinders

Buy new intake boots, and stay away from the cheap zoom shit. Let the curious know.

UPP intakes. No exceptions but OEM.

100% that boot is the issue. It will melt your motor down. Might as well do a compression test to see if there is even life left in it BEFORE you even attempt to fix the boot. Also, if you're kind of new to two strokes, do a little reading on tuning, reading plugs, how to tell if it's lean or rich, identifying an the symptoms different issues. It can get expensive just throwing parts at something with out ever knowing if it's the actual solution.

I'm pretty good with all that because I had major tuning issues with my last banshee and I checked the compression on it and it read around 118 so it's still pretty good

I'll just replace the boots lol and I have it jetted now I have 280 mains in it with 30 pilots pilots sound a little big but I was running 30 pilots in my last banshee also. and yeah it would run like absolute shit if it would even start at all then when I would go wot the cylinder not firing would backfire a bit and hit power and take off
