Looking to get a set of Skat Traks.

I do not drag race whatsoever.

I shred the dunes.

I ride Pismo and SMNV.

I will go to St Anthony's and Oregon too.

I will have a ~80whp Serval for my Labor Day Pismo trip.

I have a +2" swing arm and the appropriate shock.

I'm 230# in riding gear.

I was told 21x12x8, 10 paddle Edge on 8x8 rims.

I was thinking 21x12x8, 9 paddle Edge's on 8x8's.

Thoughts?

I had a set of edges and didn't like them. More of a fan of the straight paddles on a glued on tire. My serval has 21x8 9 paddle haulers on it. Not too short and not too tall. I wouldnt mind some extremes but these actually work pretty well. All oregon dunes. It'll hit st Anthony once this summer probably.

What didn't you like about the edges?

I've never ridden a straight paddle before.

I heard they slip out from under you when crab walking dunes or power sliding too far.

The edges were squirrelly in a straight line. Just taking off they didn't track straight. Kinda wierd. I went back to camp and put a set of Padla brats on and liked the ride alot more.

I have 22x11x8 8 paddle haulers on one and 22x11x8 10 paddle haulers on the other. I don't do much drag racing, just fast cruising across the dunes, they work great.

Checked with my 2 local Banshee gurus on this. One uses haulers and the other uses extremes on their Banshees. I think you'd be okay with either. Probably 10 paddle for your HP.

What's the difference between extremes and haulers?

Extremes paddles are stiffer and have a wider surface where its glued to the tire.

Pretty much the extreme paddle is thicker so it doesn't flex back as much as the hauler.

Sweet, thanks for the info.

I just scored a set of 22x11x8, 9 paddle haulers for $180 to try out this weekend!

Gonna mount them on some 8x8's.
