Claudes cylinders are as cast in duration like he said 189/122. I ported the intake, transfer tunnels, matched the transfers to our gasket that fits the cub cylinder and cleaned up and polished the triple and main exhaust ports with out changing heights.

With the lower port timing and sniper pipes the peak rpm is going to be lower than the high porting timing bike we tuned recently that was at like 10,500rpm peak with shearer small bore pipes. Without any dyno time with snipers I cant predict what they'll do but Id think both differences should pull the peak rpm 1k or so giving the front side of the curve a little better pull and tq come up a earlier with a long and linear graph.

IMO that layout is not optimal for snipers . I've done extensive testing on diffrent motors. Might see better results outta shearers or CPI and keep in mind snipers are my favorite inframes . I also don't have any experience with these particular cylinders but I urge you to dyno it

Snipers will only come late june... Will try to find a dyno not to far from home.  I dont care if sniper are not the best for that application, everybody is using shearer or cpi, i like to be different ;-)

Will run the engine with the mighty T5!!! lol!

claude if you dont like sniper.... We could always swap pipes for "testing" or if im not using my bike and you go to dyno.. i can ship you my shearers

This. I'll ship you my cpi and pay one way.

Let's not go blowing this outta proportion, imo Claude seems like an extreme guy who pays attention to minor things that make a diffrence. Snipers will run well on anything but they do like certain blow downs , port shapes etc to maximize performance. I'll be happy to take the snipers from you

I was just offering because I feel like this question comes up a lot, and these cylinders are fairly new. The more pipes that are there for Dyno testing, the more info that is available for any other member who was curious.
