I just dropped my motor off today to a local builder that is a sponsor on here.  He said he builds with the Vito Crank that is 4mm with short crank (110) I believe.  He rechambers the stock head.  He said this is a great running setup.  Curious your thorughts on short vs long Vito crank, and this style build.

NO SHORT ROD!!

Why won't you ask first shoot later??

Didnt know there was such a thing until I dropped it off.  It is hard to be an expert on all things banshee.  I havent paid anything yet.  Builder is Tyson racing.  He says that his short rod is a better setup then long rod.

My short rod long rod statement is irrelevant honestly.

You will get mixed answers. But I'm just pointing out the fact. Ask first for advise. I won't run a short rod again. Been there done that. Won't go back.

did you 'feel' the difference? I'm pretty curious aniut the long vs short rod thing.

I fully understand the principle behind it, but I wonder if it make that munch difference in practice.

Feel the difference? No.

But having to bore my cylinders to get rid of the egg shape wasn't worth it.

I had a vitos crank. It was a great looking piece.

But I should have gone long rod.

Just buy a 4mil 115 rodout of the two brands you mentioned. It's not a big difference in cost. A lot of ppl run the long rod some don't.

If you cannot feel the difference why wouldn't you go with the one that is in theory easier on parts? It's not like your going to miss something that you can not feel.
