Anyone ever tune up their stock ecoboost? I still have a few years left on warranty so I won't be doing one anytime soon just wondering.

Now is the time to do it since it's under warranty.

99% of dealers will never know you had a tuner.

Or they won't give a fuck. They only win on the work. It would have to be spectacular circumstances for them to think to send out your pcm to be broken down to compare the values to oem.

You can. I'm getting the hand held to swap, since my truck is so new there's always updates. Some flash the pcm which could possibly delete the tune.

a tune on a boosted diesel is more noticeable than a gas engine truck. that's what i meant.

Going to go on Monday afternoon for my appointment.

I don't know what to expect.

Right now my mileage varies a lot. During the week I'm at like 12-14.

Weekends I can get up to 18-19.

The week in drive to work a little over a mile away through 4 lights. So a lot of stop and go.

The weekends when I can cruise my mileage goes up.

I'm just hoping to have a noticeable gain when I step on the pedal honestly.

I have only ran 93 in the truck as well

All done. Took about 20 minutes. Justin hopped in the truck and we drove around.

He was going through the computer watching the values.

He put on the 91+ Oct tune.

Changed my shift points. Now the truck actually holds the gear and doesn't go to 6th at like 20 mph.

I feel the truck actually shift.

The truck moves now. Way quicker then with the super chips.

I got the Autocal, this little fuck does a lot. I can data log and send him the file. Tell him what I want and it'll be free.

He showed me the truck had some ping and it was probably not as good a gas as I thought. He said sunoco only.

So far. He wants me to put in sunoco 93 and send him a log.

But the trick woke up alot. No delay on the pedal. He completely pulled thelag out.

Well I'm impressed.

I have a few things I want him to clean up. The 2-3 shift does something weird.

And the time between engagement is long.
