willaduncan Posted December 30, 2014 Author Report Posted December 30, 2014 The anticipation was killing me so I drilled and tapped the hole, it wasn't exactly perfect so I globed the hole with red lock tight and screwed it in as tight as possible by hand I didn't want to risk stripping it with torquing it down too tight I think it will be perfect once the lock tight dries!!! gusto Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 It's looking good though. Is the new powder coating giving you any troubles when putting back together? Like rethreading etc. Quote
sleeper06 Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Take a mig welder weld to the stud , it won't stick to the aluminum and back it out with vise grips works great Quote
