kenyounot Posted December 6, 2014 Author Report Posted December 6, 2014 Thanks, that was nice to see. I notice that those a arms show the pivot tube. These are the arms I have http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-A-Arms-2-1-Chromoly-Fully-Adjustable-Alba-extended-a-arms-/171410847224?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27e8e1f5f8&vxp=mtr Only thing it says I need stock are the stock dust caps and tie rod ends. The delrin bushings were already pre installed. I saw nothing about pivot tubes. If the bushings were pre installed would the pivot tubes already be in there or did I just miss and important part lol. Quote

hoppedupandcutdown Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 I would think you need them. They are more of a crush sleeve. If the hole in your delrin is bigger than your bolt, you will need those sleeves. Fifth lin edown in you Ebay ad link - This kit uses your stock steel bushings and your stock dust caps Quote
kenyounot Posted December 6, 2014 Author Report Posted December 6, 2014 yea it says bushings, then it says they have bushings installed. Thought they were talking about the same thing. Quote

Needle bearing "shaft" Yes, that's what you need. Slow down and read more carefully. Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 No problem, if you already have bushings and end caps, OEM sleeves are $10-$11 each. Quote
kenyounot Posted December 7, 2014 Author Report Posted December 7, 2014 Tried looking for them couldn't come up with anyone that sold just the pivot tubes Quote
jscharphorn Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 I thought you was buying quality parts, not cheap parts, but even at the $250 swinger when its finished you will have $4- $5 in it. Good luck with the cheap alba arms, I bought 2 sets a couple years ago, one for a banshee and one for a raptor 660 and I had issues with both sets, hopefully they got the bugs worked out. Your searching for tubes for your a arms, start by finding a parts distributor and order them on line, I found them in 3 seconds. If you have a local dealer ship, they probably have a website and you can order the parts and pick them up. Quote
banshee4mil Posted December 10, 2014 Report Posted December 10, 2014 well since your that far getr done, Quote
252wheelieking Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Here's what happens.... You build it, you have fun building it, then you ride it... The novelty wears off, you sell it... You take a few years off and the process starts again... You damn sure said a mouth full here cause thats exactly what I did. Now im back at it all over again. Banshee's are addictive. 2 Quote
