How do i remove chrome from pipes?

Whats the easiest way i got some chrome outframes chrome is pretty ugly. Want to run them bare or paint em black

I would find a local powder coater or some one with a big sand blaster.

Acid etching will have a good chance of attacking the parent material much more aggressively then the chrome. I would not go this route. Plus you would have to dispose of a large quantity of hydrochloric acid or what ever you would choose to use which is a pain.

You would spend more than the pipes are worth to strip them. Just use a roloc disc on an air grinder to blend the bad areas then shoot them black.

Just go to a truck stop and find a lot lizard, most of them bitches can suck the chrome off bumpers.

powder coat them black, you don't have to strip the chrome completely off of them, just blast them to where they aren't shiny any more then shoot right over that with powder, comes out perfect
