Here's a picture of the plugs after riding for another half hour last night.

I don't know why you keep asking these jetting questions.

You were previously running very small jetting and were quite sure it was perfect. (Your slides were in backwards but you were damn proud of everything)

You were running jets smaller than your Dad's 200's now you are running 280's....

Why aren't you still running the lean jets you were so proud of?

You didn't have problems starting your bike with your old jetting.

I think you should go back to that old jetting. I don't know why you are messing with jetting. After all, your bike survived an entire weekend of dune riding with your old jetting.

Perform thumb compression test on cylinder that the plug on the left came out of. Report back when you find out that sides toast

where is the thumb test report?

Well I didn't know the slides were in backwards. I just assumed they were in correct before. When I switched them around my bike acted like shit because it was lean so I started to change my jetting.

Ha, I know it's a pain in the ass to learn. I didn't find this place till I was about 16-17 and I made a few boo boos and put a hole in a piston. People are just trying to save you that headache.

Another pain in the ass. I think you may wanna try those 27.5's one more time. I know it wouldn't start or whatever before but I'm assuming there was something going on causing ill spark or a flooding situation. Dunno for sure, but I'd be pretty close to betting my nuts, that if you get it started on a 27.5 it'll be much happier. Those plugs need more color. There is no way a 27.5 makes the motor so rich that it won't start. To boot, rich motors start easy..... Till you get to the point of a flooding situation, but that would take a lot of fuel to do.

Tricked I put the 27.5's back in, Shee loves it! Started on first kick! Air screws are 1.5 turns out and it idles perfect!

Listening is a skill.

You fought it for quite a while......but maybe you're developing an appreciation for listening at this point.

You're no listening Jedi........but at least some of the knowledge that people have been beating you over the head with is getting thru. LOL

Yeah lol sorry Windy for busting your balls all this time. Time for me to listen to you guys. So there's only really one (or two) things that are still problems. I took off and nailed it and about half throttle it kinda hesitated then the main kicked in and it hauled ass. So, could it be the main or the slide needle. The original needles were bent so I bought Shindy kits and used the needles in them. It did this before the new needles too. The needles are Y151 if I recall correctly.

Break through!

Ok, headway..... So it's idling and pulling. Time to get this bitch happy in between. That's yet needle. Rule of thumb, if you need to make a change and aren't sure which way to go, richer is better. This can change after you get a grasp of tuning and begin to know the differences in rich or lean carachteristics. I'd pull the needle out and move the clip down one notch. See how she responds.
