jbooker82 Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) I wouldn't run a mod quad thumb throttle cover. Let alone a lockup cover. Edited February 5, 2014 by jbooker82 Quote
Wheelman Chassis Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Id try it. i like the way it looks.. if you have a big motor id stick with mattoon. Quote

87sheerips Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 billet is billet how can mattoon be that much better? Aluminum is aluminum! 1 Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 billet is billet how can mattoon be that much better? Aluminum is aluminum! It'll serve the same purpose as the others. It is beefed up by the kick start area which is good for the big motors. Personally, I think it looks bad ass. Quote

WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 billet is billet how can mattoon be that much better? Aluminum is aluminum! ModQuad runs an entire company with that mentality. Unfortunately not all CNC programmers are equal. It's more important that the end product WORKS good rather than LOOK good. My ModQuad stator cover required major "Mods" to get the clearance needed for an advanced timing plate. Too many companies think they can copy others and succeed, yet use lesser quality aluminum or no quality control. Quote
