ZILLAKILLA Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Just wondering the pros and cons for this upgrade. I was told to just put heavier springs in and I would be fine but I know there are more options than that.. Any help?? Quote
Surfrjag Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 What are you doing with your banshee? If your racing it can help anybody once you get it tuned Quote
trickedcarbine Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 It isn't absolutely needed and by all means you can run a quality clutch with stiff springs. Or...... You can grab a nice lock up and use much lighter springs and have a much more desirable clutch feel. I even prefer a lock up and really light springs on more mild trail bikes. Couple that with a good transmission and you get a bike that rides way nicer. Quote

Jereme6655 Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 have no personal experience but I thought I could remember some saying that way up high in the rpm's it becomes slightly stiffer trying to clutch..... Quote
sleeper06 Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 I do something similar to a pro mod tranny and they shift fine, I feel they could benefit alot of bike from trail to dune. I can pull my clutch lever with my pinky Quote
