BAMF87 Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 Well I decided to try and build my own swingarm right now I have 85$ into not including the carrier. I used 1-1/4 dom .120 wall tubing, and the carrier housing and front pivot tube are from jj&a. I'm new to mig welding so excuse the ugly welds. I'm used to stick. Looks awesome though great job keep up the good work. Depends, oval will be stronger one way but weaker in the other than round. Round tube strength and stiffness is the same throughout so it depends if the arm is gonna have any side load. Quote
