Ridiculous Fabrications Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 Just like on chromoly, you can't smoke it. Any burn through.... Bad news. I wouldn't question anything Jd does dude. Guys smart and does good work. Only suggestion I have for Jd is to do some with the tig. Other than that, keep up the good work 1 Quote
possum Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 If you read I said he could turn the wire speed down. as a first option. I know all about heat. This paper says I know what im talking about. Quote
87sheerips Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Posted May 27, 2014 Look in the product reviews section. It could see a little less wire, sure. This is a pulse weld. I assure you that these welds are strong. TIG takes too long/ adds too much cost. I can TIG any upon request but the price will be higher. Lets keep this thread on subject. 1 Quote
possum Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Just throwin out a suggestion/opinion 87sheerips. Nothing wrong with a pulse weld, I actually prefer it on swingarms for several reasons. im sure its strong! And it looks just fine to, but theres always room for critique. Quote

I think a PM would be more appropriate for a personal opinion critique bud. Its all good. Quote
