Brighter Lights

Hey guys just wondering about what i would have to do to run 55 watt head lights, Bigger stator? What size output? DC convertion? Any advise would be helpful! Thanks guys

I swapped to traile techs and installed led bulbs didn't need bigger stator or dc conversion and the lights are 10x brighter then stock.

how much bigger? 100? 200 watt stator?

I thought stock lights were 55w each?

If I had it to do over again I'd just do a dc conversion

So would a 100 watt be enough to run some 55 watt lights?

I've got the 200 from Ricky Stator, even though my lights are stock it made a huge difference. JUST DON'T USE A RICKY STATOR FLYWHEEL WHAT EVER YOU DO!!!

Do Not buy a Ricky Stator!!! If you don't want to buy an OEM stator than get a Racetech.

This^^^ stay away from Ricky stator. Race Tech is much better if you csnt go OEM.

I've had a Rickey Stator(re-wound) in one of my bikes since 2001 w/no problems. Guess I'm lucky or their quality went down hill since I bought it?

I don't know why racetech is even still a sponsor here. They're not going to sell any stators here, if all they have is RM crap.
