stripped axle and hub fix?

Noticed a squeak coming from lh rear tire, gave it a shake and it has a lot of play. Removed the hub and looks like the axle splines are worn pretty bad as well as the hub spines! I went around axle spline a few times with Teflon tape and it tightened up but I know its a temp fix. Is there any other fixes then replacing the whole works?

A while back, Lonestar was closing out their rear hubs, that have pinch bolts, for about $100. If the axle splines are only a little bit worn, you could call Lonestar and see if they have any left. Remember there's 2 different wheel bolt patterns for Banshee. If the splines are severely worn, junk the axle and hub.

If you only replace one part your only fixing 1/2 the problem. I always put red lock tight on splines. It dries and keeps the splines from chewing on each other. Kind of like a glue that you can knock appart with a hammer. Just make sure you let it dry before riding.
