Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 I was recently thinking about selling my trex cylinders but idk if it's a good option. Anybody got any suggestions? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Get your T-Rex gone over by someone qualified and sell that Athena kit Quote
Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 But that trex kit is little to much for trails wouldn't it? Quote
Joejr915 Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 What the difference between trex cylinder and a twister cylinder? Which would b better for drag racing Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Same guy.... Another t-rex thread.... unreal Quote
Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 Same guy.... Another t-rex thread.... unreal Okay don't look at it if you don't like it? I got a question an that's why it's in the Question category . Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 When it comes to banshees you either want it as fast as you can hold on to, or you want it tame. If you want a lame and tame ride get a four stroke and enjoy it. But if you are really a banshee guy, that TRex is fine. 4mil right? As long as it isn't a drag type of set up keep it. If its hogged out I can admit it won't be much fun trail riding. But that's why you should get it checked out. Quote
Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 It is drag ported so that's why I was saying it wouldn't be much fun in the trails . Well it would be but to much power for it Quote
Deadbeat Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 you make your own trails with a motor like that Quote
Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 you make your own trails with a motor like that I like that idea Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Ok, then sell it and use the cash to get the Athena cyls done by a guy that specializes in banshee engines Quote
Coupelx Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Is the trex setup for powervalves? Quote
Trenton Tigney Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Yes they are Couplex Edited September 26, 2013 by Trenton Tigney Quote
Coupelx Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Run that bitch. the valves will keep it rideable. my cheetah would be considered a drag port but the valves make it an all around rider. some tuning of the valves will be needed obviously. be better than the cobbled mess you are trying to build. I'd rather just sell it , there's really nothing wrong with my athena cylinders just didn't have them ported for a 4mil no biggie. Quote
