These are all the mods I have soo far.. SST fatty pipes, SST exhaust pipes, Pro-Tapper bars, Twist Throttle, +2 Axle, Bored and Ported .80 over cylinders, Wiseco high compression/racing pistons, 4mil stroker kit, power reeds, and racing plastics.      What else could I add for more HP or Torque and Speed ? Thanks for your help     post-46404-0-00344700-1378653329.jpg

For speed you need more rpm or gearing. It takes different port work and/or pipes for more rpm.

For a smaller sprocket ratio, it takes. More power to pull it. TQ can be done by stroking it more or other methods. A better or different fuel type is a easy way to get more power too. You can advance timing and add more compression with more octane. More compression doesnt cause more stress on the bottom end but the rewards are good.

Huh? Did I read that right?

If the porting is worth a shit, doesn't mention who's porting it is or what type, there could be some power there. Different pipes. Shearer, CPI would give more power on top than those fmfs. Larger carbs than stock might help if the porting is there and different pipes to support them. Did you mention reeds? Set of vforce would help over stock.

Ok, I have duel carbs on it not an air box. The cylinders were not ported I meant re-honed. With an advanced timing plate what does that do ?? I know alot about bikes and 2 strokes but I'm new to banshee's. I got one because of the power and because they are faster then a 125 or 250 dirt bike, and more fun. The guy I bought it from knew shit about it, when he worked on it half of the motor was basically there the other half was never put in. Soo the right piston seized on me. I had magic's racing rebuild the whole motor from the crank which is now a 4-mil stroker and the cylinders were re-honed and bored out. Both pistons are new like I said above, they are Wiseco high compression/racing pistons and the bearing that hold them on are new. All gaskets are new also. The reeds are V-force 3's I'm pretty sure and thats why he put a power reeds bottle on it. It is duel carbs. Any other ideas or ways to make it faster. let me know Thanks!!

Noo, on the bottle it says Boysen Power Reeds and its a bottle that slips into the tops of the reeds where the carbs hook up to the reeds then the reeds into the engine

"Boyesen Power reeds" are replacement reeds. The bottle on top of the intakes is a boost bottle - it´s a no no.

If you have a 4mm stroker crank and un ported cylinders, you will find way more power if you get those cylinders ported.

Do you have a list of parts what Magic´s Racing used?

Magic's rebuilt it? As in Waterford michigan? Please make sure they set up the jetting right, do a leak down, compression test, and a squish test.

To make more power on it, get it ported and a set o domes to work with the stroker/porting/fuel. Maybe better carbs and pipes.

Ok, RagunCajun those links you sent me it looks like the second one except its a Boysen one.

Ok, TrickedCarbine the compression is fine and for some reason when I start it the antifreeze over flows through the over flow and then eventually stops after a few minutes. Should I buy a new head and gasket ?? How much does it cost to port the cylinders ?? Thanks !!

get rid of it. It does nothing but bounce and put stress on the rubber intakes.

There you go sir. Getting rid of it is in your best interest. Good luck with your choice.

RagunCajun, If I take it off what do I do about the open holes that go into the reeds ??

Just put the stock cross over in there. Look on an OEM parts site and you will see what goes in there stock. Some plug them up, how, i dont know. I run the stock cross over.
