I was thinkin it was pretty decent. Especially since it started out as a serval. On alky or gas?

I would imagine any stock stroke motor making those kind of numbers would be pretty high strung. Robert said the curve looked good on it.

 

When I was at Redline, we dynoed that 4mm Serval that Cam ported and it made 85 on pump gas with CPI. I would imagine that alky would put it up there in comparison with this motor.

 

That's kind of what I'm basing the results on at this point as I don't really have much to go off of with these motors.

Oh, I guess I didn't realize you were talking about a specific motor in particular. I know of a stock cylinder 350 that is in the 95hp range, and I believe it's on it's 3rd season. Only time will tell, I guess, but I would think that a drag ported 421 serval on alky should be above those numbers. The low torque is strange for a serval, isn't it? I don't know a whole lot about motors in general, it just didn't strike me as anything impressive.

Gotcha. I do remember seeing smthn about power jets. This turd of mine is supposed to be in that area with lil more torque and hp on gas. But it's never been on a dyno. I'm a tad skeptical it'll happen. But I guess we'll see.

Which one? The 98/47 is maggetshee's 4mm Serval built by Passion with Snipers on it. I would imagine the lower torque number has to do with the raised port heights?

Not sure on the torque, but I can find out. I would imagine that cam left that serval with lower port heights to keep it... well... as a serval.
