two smoker Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 Can some one point me in the right direction Quote
dirtydownunder Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 > you need to buy a tors remove/delete kit. it comes with, carb tops, throttle cable, idle screw and idle screw thread tap. most kits come with instructions. Quote
two smoker Posted May 12, 2013 Author Report Posted May 12, 2013 OK is it better to do that or get new carbs Quote
Jereme6655 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=123 there ya go. Quote
Junkyshee Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 Just get the kit, put mine on a couple weeks ago not real bad at all. Drilling and tapping idle screws is hardest part but it's overall pretty simple and so much easier to work on in there. Quote
Deadbeat Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 he might want to just disconnect the TORs without upsetting the tune Quote
Larry's Shee Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 he might want to just disconnect the TORs without upsetting the tune How would removing TORS upset the tune?? Quote
Uf21 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 he might want to just disconnect the TORs without upsetting the tune How would removing TORS upset the tune?? Well the carbs get angry then upset because you removed it's cap. 1 Quote

two smoker Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 OK so should I put new carbs or just do removal kit Quote
SpecialEd 05 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Do the TORS kit. It's pretty simple and gives you a chance to clean out your carbs while you have them off. The hardest part is syncing the carbs and making sure the idle opening is even. Then you can run it up and set your idle. A little tip, every time you remove the carb tops you will need to resync the carbs later. Quote
tdod101 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Watch JLsparkys video on how to do it, I did it my self as well and it was quite easy Quote
