  1. Junkyshee

    Kick starter

Just looking for a cheap stock kicker if anybody has an extra. Thanks in advance!
  2. We do trail ride more than anything. And 218 meters above sea level. Thanks for all of the replies!
  3. He doesn't care to run race gas if he has to
  4. My banshee is .60 over, mild port work. Stock carbs, stock pipes. I've been doing a little grudge racing on the street against a bunch of retarded ricers. I've taken all their money but the stock pipes feel like they are killing my top end. My buddy has a set of drag pipes that I'd like to throw on and try. But I don't know what size jets to run? 218 meters above sea level and the temperature averages 80 this time of year. Any help will be appreciated. After all if it wasn't for you guys my banshee would be in the garage again for another 9 years lol. Thanks.
  5. My buddy doesn't use the computer much and wanted me to get a little info. His banshee is .80 over, mild port work, fmf pipes and silencers, vforce reeds, stock carbs jetted for pipes, it's tore down right now and waiting on rings and gaskets to come in, but he has a cool head that come off his parts bike and he wants to put it on when he puts it back together, but one of the domes are a little beat up. He's wanting to know what cc domes he should run in it. We do quite a bit of trail riding, a lot of grudge drag racing, nothing too hardcore. I'm not real familiar with this my banshee is pretty well stock lol. What size cc domes would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.
  6. I've been there buddy, mine sit for 9 years and I dug it out few months ago couldn't get it to fire, changed everything and finally changed wiring harness and fired right up.
  7. Too rusted to get a good connection with the pickup??
  8. Just get the kit, put mine on a couple weeks ago not real bad at all. Drilling and tapping idle screws is hardest part but it's overall pretty simple and so much easier to work on in there.
  9. Me and all my buddies run ATF in ours, never had any trouble out of any of them....
  10. Mine was acting like this after sitting for nearly 9 years when I finally got it running, I ordered carb rebuilt kits, put them in yesterday and its running like new. Not sure when part I replaced was the problem, but it's running perfect now.
  11. Where are you located? Wonder what shipping is to Kentucky?
  12. Ok so I haven't touched my shee in a week or so been waiting on my TORS delete kit and carb rebuild kits. Well got everything together earlier and it starts and runs SO much better, sounds way cleaner than it has since I got it together. Still running stock pipes, .60 over (supposedly), k&n filter but I forgot the lid at my shop so I wasn't running a lid. So I run the air screws two rounds out, fired it right up let it warm up, adjusted idle and took it down the road. Revs excellent, but when I took it down the road anything over 1/4 throttle was complete bog, like fall on its face like it was running out of gas. I run the air screws half a round in and took it back out and it ran great until half throttle, and once again it would just bog completely out until I came back to under half throttle. Finally for shits and gigs I ran the air screw all the way in just to see, took it out and it runs awesome until 3/4 throttle or just a hair over. Would my air box lid make that big of a difference not having it on? Stock jets, 75ish degrees and in central Kentucky not sure on elevation. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys. (Also completely forgot to check my plugs I was in a rush and it sounds like a lean issue, so didn't think to check them)
  13. Will definitely check that ^^^
  14. Alright kind of new to the banshee world, so I'm fine with being called retarded lol. My banshee is .60 over with stock pipes and stock carbs and stock jets, I live in southern Kentucky and temps are anywhere between 60 and 85. What size jets should I be running, because mine seems to be running out of fuel on the big end. If you read my thread in repairs you'll understand a little more. Long story short My banshee has sit in my garage for 9 years after it quit firing, some idiot that was "professional" took it and bored it and freshened it up and never got it running. So my dad parked it and I just bought it from my dad and drug it out 2 weeks ago and got it running. First time it's been ran on bore. Just seems like it cuts out on big end pretty bad. Thanks in advance guys. Without you all this thing would still be sitting and not running.
