cheetah intakes

Hey guys. I just bought a 472 cheetah topend and have a few questions about the intakes.

 

1. What intakes do the cheetahs use? Are they 250R intakes or CR250 intakes? If CR250, what year?

 

2. When I got the topend I noticed that the intake boots have a 1/4" hole in the top of them. What would someone do this for?

 

3. Is there a way to fix this without buying new boots? If yes, what would be the best way to fix it?

Brandon is supposed to be top notch with the cheetahs. Same goes for Tim Bond at Titan racing.

250 intakes and reeds

Maybe holes for nitrous nozzles? Get some intakes from chariot performance. Can use CR or Trx reeds

I was hoping to not have to get new boots. The UPP intakes are not cheap.

Im looking to buy some Boyesen reeds so I wanted to know what reeds to get.
