thekevin Posted January 1, 2013 Author Report Posted January 1, 2013 Haha, I guess I do have $12k in my 2012 grizzly right beside it in the garage that starts up nice and easy and is much more comfortable to ride. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 Quote

Ya that explains why there's so many snow mobiles that are 2 stroke. Ive always rode mine all winter as long as you have oil thats good for the temp your fine if your jetted for conditions. Quote
rjdgriff Posted January 1, 2013 Report Posted January 1, 2013 I put a blanket on my shee for the winter because it is cold... Not because shee dosnt like the cold tho, it's because I don't like the cold lol Quote

Ive always rode mine all winter as long as you have oil thats good for the temp your fine if your jetted for conditions.ive never understood that. People think for some reason 2 strokes don't like cold. I've heard it as a kid. I guess the people that are saying that are the same people that have no idea how to jet a bike properly and don't know why the bike runs like shit form there normal 85 degree riding to the first snow where it's 20 degrees. Then that for some reason just spreads and gets around Quote
Paulie B Posted January 1, 2013 Report Posted January 1, 2013 My banshee is one of the easiest starting smokers I own in the cold? My alky 400 single basically has to be pull started if it's really cold. Quote

You do realize that 4 stroke snomobiles are still a pretty new thing? Quote

BigRed350x Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 On my alky bikes if its cold, i just pour a little bit of gas on the air filters, hold the throttle wide open and kick a couple times and it fires right up. Jared Quote
thekevin Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 How cold are you talking. It is 35 here today and I just took it for a spin. It started second kick today but definately didn't run like normal, had a sputter the first couple of times coming on the throttle after riding easy for a little bit. Quote
Finch Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 if ya didnt rejet for the cold your runnin lean Quote
