gartman4310 Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 what's the best lookup for banshee 421 cub motor Quote
trickedcarbine Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 -Umm, direct drive needs an expensive side cover -Mattoon sells a good lock up alone but you can use their stock modded covers or expensive DD style -Gigot is a slingshot that fits under the stock cover with very little nub modification but is pricey -DriveLine is another slingshot style that fits under the stock cover and has sweet price to boot What works for you? I run the Driveline unit, love it! Quote
JayCLL Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I use the Direct drive's on both my bikes, you can get creative with your side cover and customize it Quote
shanYE west Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 yes, the slingshot/driveline can use stock covers.. but.. makes clutch changes a pain in the ass.. I prefer the DD style with modded cover. Quote

AKheathen Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 i run a dd. the cover is more bling to spring for, but really, it is bling points. i find people can't stop pointing it out and bragging it up, more than the fingers that warrent it. rule of thumb: up to 80hp, you can possiblyt get away with full had springs. 60hp, need at least 2hd springs. 50+ can benifit a lockup, and still get an easy-pull. 80hp+ best to just get a lock-up. if you don't get that with 421cub, you fail.
