RagunCajun Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 My bike is set up for a 1st gear launch. I dont see a point of having an all around bike like i have to have 5 gears(no 6th due to my override) and not use them all. Quote
possum Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 I also feel 1st gear starts pull longer out of the hole with less tire spin. Atleast when ur under 100 hp. Quote
BigRed350x Posted July 5, 2012 Author Report Posted July 5, 2012 I also feel 1st gear starts pull longer out of the hole with less tire spin. Atleast when ur under 100 hp. I'm over the 100hp mark on the drag bike. Quote
camatv Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 i kept breaking 2nd gears and that was the main reason i went to a 1-5. also i like gearing for higher mph even though i rarely see 5th. but i like that if i need it its there. Quote

I slap mine in 3rd in flats bec im 200 pounds at the dot. My bike is set for 255lbs in 2nd. What helps is the +12 extension swinger and +2 extended A arms with axles. All i can say is... Felt worser than an rocket taking off. I always love the drag banshees! If u aint got any fears, just hop on ride with jesus! Quote
10milbansheerider98 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 BIGRED, 100hp isnt bad. I'm only 20 more horses above you but good luck just make sure your handlebar is clamped on tight or your bucked off and I been there already thats why im tellin u. Quote
10milbansheerider98 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 I also feel 1st gear starts pull longer out of the hole with less tire spin. Atleast when ur under 100 hp. 120 hp here... 12 paddle xtreme haulers, i slap mine in 3rd and it spins for just few seconds then it pulls your ass forth and wheelies a long way until i have to shift into 4th. Try that? Quote
