12 0 Clock P I M P Posted December 21, 2011 Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 I appreciate all the kind words, three bond was used and yes, it does get everywhere and seaps into spots, but it will not effect that engine running, you told me that the bearings were "frozen" yet the motor kicked all day before you left with it so they are not frozen. IT has been sitting probably a year on my bench i did not build it overnight and dump it on you. They are stock 64mm virgin cylinders sold to me by "hank" on this board. They are brand new 64mm namura pistons - nothing is wrong with the cylinders or pistons. you did a leak down and bought it . you could have left it there and walked away. If it was still entact i would have no issue taking it back, but once someone else's wrenches touch it, i will not do anything that is how this hobby is. I do not call the guy i buy bikes from that break the next day because it the motor blew up. The motor has not been run if the three bond is an issue and you are rebuilding it anyway, just peel it off i know there is nothing wrong with the crank - purchased bottom end from "Phelps". The motor was a spare for me and supposed to be for you as well no reason you cant rebuild it with the sealant of your choice or use the parts how you wish. I would have run that engine, now it is apart there is no way to prove its validity. A week ago you said you were going to have the cylinders ported so there was no issues with them then, now there are. Yes pistons where brand new, no doubt there But the cylinders needed to be bored out, grooves and scarring on the walls, they are being bored .30 over now bc You cut corners Looks like you poured a gallon of sealant inside the motor, you can say it was your spare motor but like i said befor it would have never ran The clutch wasn't even assembled correctly and there were Allen head bolts behind the basket hitting the rivets on the back side of the basket This motor was going in a bike im takin to Glamis in feb, you think I was gonna make that trip without going through the motor!! Your crazy dude Your telling me that if no1 wrenched on it, you would have taken it back? You send texts at 11 o clock at night...normal people are sleeping and this is why i do not respond because you do not show respect to the people you contact at late hours I will not answer. An engine is a mechanical device and now have bored it out or whatever and altered it already so no I will not take it back in pieces. Its already been weeks since you got it. The parts are worth what you paid if you part it out, or you can put it back together your way. If ur going to buy a complete engine just to take it apart you should have just bought the parts and built it yourself. Nothing I am going to say will make you happy and you are already continuing to do something with it so your concern must not be that important. Motor is being bored bc it's NEEDS to be bored, not bc I feel like spening another 100.00 bucks and wasting 3 bore sizes I never asked you to take the motor back, and I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant that the parts are worth what I paid, bottom line is that your a liar, guys on the HQ shouldn't trust you and you are still trying to cover your ass and make excuses.. What don't you get? Shit wasn't even assembled correctly, wrong hardware was used and shit wasn't even tight I'll gladly post pictures of the flywheel when I make it back to SLEEPER06 place!
