acadien506 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 hi , im a new owner and i d like to buy some performance heads, preferably the 21cc and im not sure witch brand is the best buy , my banshee is pretty stock except for the bolts-on like t5 mufler, boost bottle , air filter and jets , so id like to have my power band start a little lower RPM . Most of my riding is trails and little bit of pave roads . And also thinking of buying the adjustable timing plate to. And i want some a-arm widening kit and i dont know witch brand is good quality , and when they whrite +3 +1 is it +3 inch each side and lowers the front of the bike 1 inch ? So this would be my banshee make over before summer. Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Free head is the best head. +2+1 means 2" wider per side and moves the spindlel forward 1". +3+1 is then 3" wider and still 1" forward. You'll want shocks set up for the wider arms as the leverage on them is greater. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 They are hard to find but the best HEAD is a "Swallow". Quote
hotrodbanshee Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Noss performance head. Great customer service. Quote
KlotzBanshee Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 NOSS/FAST here Chariot and Pro Design are nice too. Quote
Dunerider Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I have a pro design head and it works great. Had a mod quad at first but blew out the orings pretty quick and put a new set in and blew them not to long after and said forget I and bought the pro design Quote
crustydemon Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I like the Noss/Fast head the best. I have two of those and a pro design. I dont care for the pro design as much. Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Or a Fat Head. Anything but a ModQuad. Quote
DallasGDub Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 You can get your stock head milled to save some cash. If not, go with a NOSS. Get a set of +2+1 arms. The widening kits are a joke. Quote
