bansheesrtoys Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 damn. but from the looks of things i think your head was beat up from the crank failing not the head first. look like you melted a bearing and sucked it up in the rest of your motor. i bet some metal was in the pipe too. hopefully it didn't crack the cases at all. Phelps Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 another theory is that the crank seal went out, or clogged jet in the carb on that side causing a lean condition and detonation killed the bearing. i would definitely check every last thing including carbs, reeds etc with a fine tooth comb before running it with new parts.
