xTHUNDERCATx Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 wow 295 for their own made crank! though you can add the TZ bearing for 50 and a centre pin for 40 extra.... why is it so affordable over the other cranks!... http://www.bansheedepot.com/proddetail.asp?prod=91%2D5721 i cant tell if thats sarcastic or not, even with the extra 90 for those the 7 and 10 mil cranks are amazing prices Quote
xTHUNDERCATx Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 (edited) ya its crazy and now ive only heard of 2 people running them one said he ran his 10 mil for 5 years and it was still going the other is AWR so far no bad reviews lol Edited November 8, 2010 by xTHUNDERCATx Quote

You don't get a first run quality forgings for bottom dollar price. Quote

xTHUNDERCATx Posted November 10, 2010 Author Report Posted November 10, 2010 up top, still looking for more feed back on them Quote
T_Shee Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 have you called tdr to ask them about them. obviously you will get a slightly bias opinion but you may learn something about them Quote
camatv Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) it says those are WSM cranks. i dont know anything about those BUT i have a TDR 10 mill crank in my 535 its the 850 dollar one its been a GREAT crank NEVER had a problem with it at all. used hotrods connecting rods on it.. been going strong through lots of ABUSE for 5 + seasons. i highly recomend that crank.. http://www.bansheedepot.com/proddetail.asp?prod=91%2D5706 i'd be curious to see/ try the wsm? BANSHEE HP Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) ive seen a WSM crank stock stroke, the "welds", the welds were done with the bearings on the crank so they were almost just tac welds and you could see the slight burn on the beariing indicating where it had been welded. cheaply made imo, but tdr may do/request different bearings, rods, welds. also as far as i know WSM cranks have only been out for a banshee for maybe a year, Cam's may be a different brand all together Edited November 17, 2010 by BANSHEE HP Quote
camatv Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 mine is not a wsm these welds are complete around the pin i even specd it with a tz before it was an option on the site.. at the time my only other option was a 1200 dolla crankworks Quote
xTHUNDERCATx Posted November 18, 2010 Author Report Posted November 18, 2010 i was looking and it looked liek it had both the wsm cranks and the cranks i saw for different prices, i dont know if they are the same or not but it looks different Quote
