Wanting to drag cut my harness for my banshee. Not using a key or headlights. Stock carbs removed so no tors. If anybody has done it and could get me some pics of where they put everyhting and what they cut out that would be great. thanks

its rather simple, figure out what you want to keep or not and trace the plugs you dont want like tors and light back to where they tie in and cut them out.

I know this is an old thread, but I just picked up a banshee and am wanting to cut some bs out of my harness.

So, question, do you guys cut all the factory covering off the harness to access the wires easier? And if so, what do you wrap it back up with??

Not sure I wanna spend any money on one when I can just cut it down myself. Am wanting to keep all my lights for night rides at the dunes. But will cut out what all I don't need. I read about relocating the CDI...Where does everyone put it? Or is it just personal preference?

Green,

Wasn't that hand drawn schematic floating around here a couple years back, yours?

I used that with great success, but alas, can no longer find it.

That was pre-Kompulsive, of course.

Yeah Ill dig that up.. Its pretty crude, but like you said it has worked on numerous occasions.

I've seen more harnesses destroyed then fixed when people try this.

KC will do what ever you want for a great price and there is no work for you to do except install
