  1. Yea I definitely got a lot of good info off here! I'm sure I'll have another banshee one of these days so I'll remember that. If I wasn't so tight for money at the time I probably would've kept it and rebuilt it. No better way to learn than to just tear everything apart and put it back together! 2. I actually got rid of the bike without resolving it. I'm pretty sure the top end was shop. The cylinder that wasn't firing had low compression. I was tired of messing with it so I just sold it. I don't think 2 strokes are for me... I love riding them but I'm not very fond of working on them lol Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.
  3. I can get on it and try to ride..it'll putt around but once I try to get on it and in the power band it just has nothing Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. It won't even idle. Unless I'm on the throttle just a little Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. And is carb sync more than just checking it by eye? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. I just installed reeds. They are used v force 3s.. Also, after installing the reeds I found that both my intake boots were cracked so I replaced them. What do I need to check for on the reeds? They look brand new to me. Pulling them back out is going to suck because I used RTV this last time I put it back together. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. Hey guys, I've got some problems.. It seems like my left cylinder isn't firing right. It's getting gas and the plug is wet but it's like it's not igniting. It also has hot exhaust coming out it. Doesn't idle quite right like it did before and it'll run, but once I get to the power band it just has nothing. The plug does have spark. But maybe it's not enough? Just looking for ideas on what it could be. Coil? Plug boot? Something else? Thanks Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. When you say 4th clip, is that from the top or the bottom? I'm new to the two stroke tuning Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.
  9. FMF fattys, pod filters, TORS removed, and v force 3 reeds Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.

  11. Thanks a lot! Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.
  12. That big of a main? I figured 240ish. I have a 220 in right now
  13. I'm having a pretty similar issue. I'm thinking it might be an air leak but I've never done a leak down test. Is there a good walk through on here? I haven't even looked yet for one.. Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.
  14. I've got FMF fattys, pod filters, and v force 3 reeds. 1,900 ft above sea level about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.

    JETS

Does anyone have some jets layin around they would get rid of? Looking for both pilot and main jets. At least a 27.5 pilot and maybe 230, 240, and 250 main jets. Factory carb on 2003 model. Thanks!!
  16. Have any good reeds? Sent from a Galaxy, far, far away.
  17. Well the strip has tape on it. The ties are just in case it decides to come loose. But yea that would've worked too! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  18. Lol I did. When I first put it together I didn't have any black ones. They're all black now
  19. Hey guys, just thought I'd share my taillight that I made. Didn't like the big ugly one that my 03 had on it so I made my own. Starting point... Cut the top lip off that actually mounts to the grab bar. After grinding the edge and making it look decent I painted it. Then I ordered a RED SIDE EMITTING LED STRIP from superbrightleds.com and stuck it to the mounting piece and zip tied it just in case... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  20. How do I do a leak down test? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  21. The motor was warm..at least for the 1st cylinder for sure...and had wide open throttle. Did the second cylinder twice making sure everything was tight and still got the same reading Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  22. I believe it is a BOSCH from O'Reilly auto parts. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  23. Just did a compression test today. First cylinder was right around 130 psi and the second was 120. Should I be worried that they are that far off? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  24. Got it mounted! Took me a whole 20 mins to fab up some new tabs [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  25. That's the exact problem I had. The ends weren't round. Drilled em out and worked great! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
