bend in the pipes

just want to know if anyone ever tried to unkink a pipe by putting water in it and leaving it in the cooler over night ... ?

I've heard of this.

I'if it's a big kink chances are it'll take more than just that.

if it's a bent pipe, then there is allot more than just poppin dents out. probably, have to cut, reshape, then weld back

yeah its a pretty good kink but didnt seem to affect performance at all

I've done it with 4-poke pipes (on my KX450 ti Pro circuit header, for example) with good results. The ti header was easy. A thicker, stainless header took a couple tries to get the dent fully out. I'd try it, at least.

My brother-n-law did this with his stock cr-250 pipe and it split open and blew black soot all over his freezer. His wife was pissed. it will work with aftermarket pipes that are welded together but i would not do with stock pipes
