i have heard t6 arent as good for ported engines as t5. i dont know if i really believe this or not tho. i had some t5s and liked them really well. toomey says on there site that the t6's make more power but that may be boecause they get an extra 100 bucks out of them lol. good luck

If it cost more, it has to be better. Thats the law!

T-6s suck ass compared to T-5s.T-5s work great on ported and non ported motors,if you are looking for a mid to topend pipe.T-6s don't work on ported motors, just buy T-5s and be done with it.

Well I'm just wondering if t5 are really that much better then. T6

My bike came with T6's the same as you. I had a clean up port with a new top end and the T6's came on a hair sooner and pulled harder than the T5's i went to.

Allright thanks for the help ill look onto that

t-6's make more power and have a wider powerband on stock motors, because they are designed for peak efficiency at lower flow rates. you can even port the motor to match the 6's. the t-5's are designed for mid-top pull and peak efficiency at much higher flow rates, such as you get from mid-top ported motors, and strokers. it all depends on how far you are going to go on your build, but right now, the 6's will work better.

allright akheathen so as for my motor now i proby wont do much more modding for awhile so the t6 right now will be fine??? you said they have a wider powerband does that mean longer? and what do you mean by they are designed for peak efficency at lower flow rates what do you mean? thanks for the help

I'd say if you're happy with your motor, and your bike is pulling hard, AND you have no big mods in store for the near future, LEAVE YOUR PIPES ALONE. Trust me. It's a vicious cycle... First you'll get the T5's... then you'll want to "port just a bit" to match them. BUt then the tuner will tell you to ride his bike. Then its over. You'll be hooked... You'll be looking at aggressive porting, new pistons, a stroker crank, larger carbs, a better clutch, a Cool head... See what I mean? Happy with it? Leave it alone... ;)

P.S. ---> I speak from experience... I made the mistake of riding two WildCard bikes...
