Cali Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Have you tried pull starting it to see if you can get it to fire? Quote
fastquad02blaster Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 If he's not getting fuel to it, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to pull it around without lubrication in the engine. Quote

ANY IDEAS??!?!?!?!?!?!?! Quote

Building my First Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 There must be something off on the carbs. Are the idle screws in enough to have the slides off the bottom? Are you using the choke? Sounds like you really need to do a leak down test, you might have a massive air leak. Quote
gunner6262 Posted April 12, 2010 Author Report Posted April 12, 2010 Yeah I guess I will but I don't see how an air leak would cause no fuel to be delivered to the plugs. And yeah screws out 1 1/2 turns and I used choke but still dry plugs. And it's damn near turning over but I'll try the leak down tester. Quote
Smokestack Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 I would pull the petcock and clean the screen in it. Then pull the jets out of your carbs and make sure of the size and clean them really good. Pull your air screw out and clean it really good too. Quote

If your reeds dont have a good seal the motor wont pull the fuel into the cylinders very well. Same for most air leaks from what i have heard. Quote
