  1. Did you lube your cable?I got that same kit off ebay & I agree pretty dam stiff.I got the easy pull lever from fast off here.Made a huge differance.Give that a try.
  2. Your splitting the cases?I kow some people cut the liip off the seal & silicone it in.I would not recommend doing that

Nope brand new barnett basket with the little plates to prevent from grooving the basket.So anyways went to the beach over the weekend.Headed up sand highway towards comp hill.I noticed it felt like it was slipping a bit.So I added a shit load of play.No way it could be still iingaged with as much play as I gave it.Took off & still the same.So I had my buddy pulll me in to keep from burning another clutch.Pulled it apart to day and clutch looks ok.They were glazed just a bit so im going to sand the glaze off.So now only tihing left is pressure plate.Im guessing it must be warped?I ordered a new one and also the shaft & ball since they were cheap.What do you guys think?If not pressure plate what could it be?Everrthing else is new.
  4. When you got the clutch cover off look at the colant hose that goes into the clutch case to the water pump.There is an origin on the end of the hose,Ive seen those orings leak aswell.

Im having a clutch issue,and hope you guys can answer it for me.I have a 2000 Banshee with barnett clutch baksetr,I got the pancake beraing & easy pull lever from fast awile back.Put a new clutch in & had it adjustet right.The notches dont lne up,but still had it adjusted right.Well two rides and clutch is fried!I rand type F if that matters?So I just put in a barnett dirt digger with the heavy spings.I can clutch it and the last 2 or 3 disk & plates are not moving in and out.Makes me think maybe thats why it burned up.Or is this narmal?The last clutch set i used was a cheap tusk.Also should I run the gear saver oil over the ATF?Any one have any ideas here?

Hey guys im having clutch problems.I just put in a new clutch I got off ebay called Driveline performance.Suppose to be a good dune clutch with heavy springs.New clutch cable,easy pull lever and cascade pancke bearing from fast.Clutch pull is awsonme.Very easy!Here is my problem.I cant aligh the lower push lever with the arrow on side of (under carb) engine.Cant get even close.Could the push rod or PUSH LEVER ASY be wore out?Went to the beach this past weekend and after a few rides cllutch started to slip.m running ATF type F.Draind fluid and its burnt.I had plenty of free play so i dont under stand whats the deal?If i turn the panckae allen screw al the way out the arrows are still not close.I do have the ball bearing in between the rod and pancake.Is there suppose to be another one on other side of rod?

I was riding the dunes when it died all the sudden.Took back to camp and could not get any spark.I switched cdi with my dads banshee and still nothing.So I pulled the Mag off and I could see that the green wire had got snaged in the mag somehow?So I went to walmart and got a soldering iron and shrink tubing and fixed the(it was cut into) wire,After that it started right up and ran.When I would get in the pwerband it would cut out for a sec.So I rode it back to camp and it got worse.Lights were working fine,So im sure its the pick up coil.Gap was set with match book,since that all I had,But I dont think it was the gap.Do you guys think maybe the Regulator could be bad or maybe a coils?I guess I can rob parts off my dads quad to check with.Whats do you guys think could be the problem?Thanks in advance for advice.
  11. My stator went out at Pismo.M question is whats a good stator to buy?I see the Ricky stator on ebay and alos the RMStator.Anyone know if there any good?Ive heard bad about Ricky Stator in the past.
  12. What do you guys think is the beter exhaust.I have a 2000 Banshee with T5s.My dad just picked up a 1999 with DMC 916.I really like the sound of his exhaust,which makes more hp?I may trade him exhaust, just wondering what you guys think?

  14. I just put a TM case saver on my banshee last nite.It says works with stock mag/ sproket cover.I had to cut the inside piece off, that goes over chain.Did anyone else have to do this?

Just want to see if im close on my jetting.I have T5s,mild port,+4,fresh 30 bore & im running cool head 20 doms.Im running 112 race gas mixed 50/50 with 91 pump fuel.My oil is 927 32:1 but I thinking about trying 40:1.Also K&N with no lid.When I got this it was blown up and had 290 mains 25 pilot.I put 320 in so I can work down.It is tad rich.I So im going to put in 310s today and 27.5.Im at sea level & mostly ride at Pismo Beach.So what do you guys think?Is this close,or should I go back to the 290s?He was running lid before.Also the neddle is in the middle postion.Do you start at the point end when your counting what postion to put it in?I have not rode it yet with the +4 timming,but before it bogged a bit on low speed,but ran great on top..
  16. I just put a new clutch in my banshee last week & walmart type F.Went to Pismo dunes over the weekend & rode hard for 2 days.Drained the fluid when I got back.Fluid looks new.No burt clutch smell either.No problems hitting neutral either.

The Banshee engine is a very simple to build.I dont get why he wants to come in here and talk smack?You dont even have to bother with the transmission like most engines.So wha this guys point?Sure anyone could build one of these in a few hours,but I dont even see why you would want to?So did you figure out why its locked up?
  18. Ive got 20 doms.I wanted to run pump gas aswell,but after my build i have around 175 psi.So im running 50/50.Some say i should be running strait race gas.Im at sealevel.I hear 20 is the cut-off on pump fuel, usually.
  19. Your to rich.You need to play with the jetting.Whats your set up and elevation?
  20. Ya I agree.I cant see no reason for it to lock up from giving it a shot of fuel.Uless there was no premix like coupelx said.

  22. Are they one size fits all?Thats what the guy at cycle gear sas.Anyways the one he has the lever is real short.Can you get longe levers?Im just use to a longe lever.They sell them for like $50 is that about the going rate?On ebay I seen some for $39 plus shipping.So almost works out the same.

  24. Ive heard good and bad news of these.Does anyone else use these?I got a new clutch comming and want to make my clutch pull eaiser.Iver heard these break after 2-3 rides..Any feedback?Ive also done the ol drill lever trick b4,I know that works,but adjustment is not so good.

When I put my cool head on, I had the same problem with the orings.I took some light greese and lightly put it inside the groves b4, puting the orings on.It held my orings long enough to put together.I got about 3 hours on my top end with no problems.Nid pressure test after engine was built and no leaks.
