trintiy single carb set up? should I convert?

whats up,

i have stock carbs on my banshee,tors removed,obviously they are re jetted. i was considering changing it over to the trinity single carb set up just for the simple fact that it will be easier to tune one carb but im also concearned about losing on the performance end of things if i do so. i havent seen too much info or feed back on here about the single carb set up. if anyone has any info or input about these carbs and whether or not they affect performance positively or negatively i would really like to hear what anyone has to say. please help.

Hands down I'd keep stockers over single setup, I've been around a few and they just run the float bowl dry to easy. Get a carb synchronizer and setting up two carbs is easy

i agree 100%. a friend of mine has the 2 into 1 setup its nothin but problems for him, my dad and brother are yamaha certified mechanics and they say you will get better performance out of stock carbs properly sinked than the trinity setup, i beleive it my carbs give me no problems at all its been said on here that banshees are twins dont do any 2 into 1 setups. --- carb, dynoport pipe, or even the toomy air filter system, ive got the filter set up though it hasnt given me any issues, its basicly the same as runnin a stock filter other than no airbox. imo stick with the stock carbs

I would stick with 2 carbs any day for any kind of riding.

I have been running them for years,and i can tell you anyone running these setups and having trouble either doesnt have it setup right or the jetting is off.

I got one on my trail bike,and i have one on my ported bike.On the trail bike i run a 33pwk and an airbox,and the other im running a 35 or 36(pwk) and a clamp on filter. The bike with the bigger carb is ported and t5's. They are by far the single best investment i have made for both quads. Jetting is quick and easy--and cheaper/it makes more room/thumb throttle is easier,i just think for trail riding and play riding it is an awesome set-up. 2 carbs work just fine,but i just really like the single carb way better.

 

For dune or drag though i would stick with 2 carbs.

 

I swear by these kits,and its always the first thing i buy for a banshee

 

Remember this is all a matter of opinion though.

Dumb question, would a single 35pwk setup use half the fuel of a dual set up 35pwk?

i have the 2 into 1 setup it was on there when i got it but i haven't had any issues at all with it i have a 35 pwk on it for trail riding runs great idles real good
