  4. my banshee is shooting flames out of the left side only. it has no power after half throttle and runs like complete shit.sputtering and spitting. this just happened out of the blue. hard to start as well. the compression seems a lil low but what would cause the flames out of the exhaust on the left side only??? any feedback greatly appreciated! thanks Gurnzz
  5. haha thanks for the feedback guys. hey firebanshee i think u convinced me to try it, ive have no prob tearing down the bike if i f em up.ive got an extra set too so i think im gonna give it a shot. why not.lol. il let you know how ii make out. Gurnzz

  7. hey i was just curious if any one on here has tried to port their own cylinders? if so how did it go? i was considering trying it myself. if anyone has any feed back shoot it my way. thanks Gurnzz
  8. yeah thats what i figured too. i already have the lid off with a k+n so i guess ill save the pods for when we head back to the sand dunes. thanks for the feedback ! Gurnzz
  9. i was considering getting a set of k+n pods for my shee but a lil hesitant only cuz where i usually seem to ride i encounter decent amounts of mud and water from time to time. will these conditions be a problem with the pods? it seems like the outerwears will deflect some of the water but not really too sure. any feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks Gurnzz
  10. hey fastbanshee8, i was looking into the pods for my shee but a lil hesitant cuz i sometimes have to go thro some water and decent amounts of mud where i typically seem to ride. what are your feeling on k+n pods in those situations??? thanks Gurnzz
  11. yeah def not running 0 degree temps here. its about 65-85 where i live now. ill try the 300 when i get to virginia and tune from there. thanks for your input GrMeyer! much appreciated. Gurnzz
  12. i have 330's in now cuz where i live is at sea level but when i head to virginia ill start with a 310-300 and go from there.ur prolly right on the 290 tho, i was kinda thinking in that range too. thanks for the feedback 06specialedition!
  13. i wouldnt even ask this but i tried to go on loco's jet finder post but it wouldnt connnect for some reason. im heading to hatfield McCoy at the end of the month. the elevation varies between 800-1800 so i should prolly jet for the higher elevation. correct? heres what shee has done. wiseco superstock pistons +.040,noss head with 20cc domes, billet waterpump impeller, adjustable timing plate+ 4 degrees, tors eliminated,330 mains currently but i live close to sea level, w/27.5 pilots, carbon fiber reeds,k+n w/no lid or snorkle, fmf fatties w/turbinecore 2 silencers boost bottle...anyone have an idea what size jet i should run for the main at that elevation??? feed back much appreciated! thanks, Gurnzz
  14. hey bansheesandrider, i did what you explained as far as the milling of the angle and the +1/8 in when i originally installed the idle screws like a year ago.. ill check the synch of the slides and the adjustments and if need be clean the carbs too.also i will check the floats. is there something noticable to determine which float is left or right?thanks again. Gurnzz
  15. hey AKheathen yeah it dies instantly once i let go of the throttle.i set the pick up gap setting when i installed the timing advance plate like a year ago and it was right then. ill re-check it tho. do you know the spec for that off the top of your head? ill pull the plugs to and check those. Thanks, Gurnzz
  16. thanks everyone for the feed back ! ill change the fluid tomorrow and ill let you guys how i make out. hopefully thats all it is. Thanks Gurnzz. everyone have a good weekend !
  17. hey sandduner i have an aftermarket clutch and i cant remember what fluid i just recently put in it but ill def look into that. ii still have the botle out in the garage. ill let you know how i make out. thanks for the response !
  18. hey J-Madd i set the actauator so the arm so its straight back, adj the cable and it seemed great untill !!! heres whats happening. say im riding it and i have to stop in a trail behind someone for whatever reason. i pull in the clutch while its still in gear, and in about 5 seconds you can feel the clutch getting funny in your hand and then shee tries to move forward even tho clutch is still pulled in, then it seems like whatever is taking place with the clutch it feels like it partially engages and shee wants to stall out unless u let the clutch out and continue forward. cant figure it out. Any ideas from anyone on what to maybe look at or where to go from here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Gurnzz
  19. lol. Thanks AKheathen. yes i removed that. hey it doesnt hurt to ask tho. thanks
  20. thanks Firebanshee i will do def do that. thanks for the feedback!
  21. hey randomrider it doesnt seem to make a difference whether or not the choke is on or off. ill prolly pull the carbs apart and trying cleaning them first and rebuild if necessary, hopefully i find something. thanks for the response.
  22. as long as ive owned my banshee i can never seem to get it to idle at all, always seems to stall out. tors have been removed,it has an idle kit,340 mains, 27.5 pilots, air/fuel at 1.75 turns out. not sure what look for for. could it be a prob with the carbs possibly, ie. dirty ? would a carb synchronizer help with this or no? any help on this topic would be appreciated! thanks Gurnzz
  23. ok thanks again J-Madd, your help is much appreciated. ill def run it a lil loose !
  24. thanks for the feed back J-Madd, ok so when i make the adjustment on the side should the clutch cable adjustment on the handle bars be all the way backed off or should there be tension on it? also just to make sure i got what u said about the arm. i should hold it with my finger so its pointing straight back and turn the adjuster screw on the clutch hub till i feel resistance on the arm and then i should lock down the jam nut once i feel resistance? I just want to make sure i get it right this time!
  25. hopefully someone can help me. my banshee when i bought it would move forward even when the clutch was pulled in. i ws told this could be caused by a worn inner or outer clutch hub and the clutch was do to be replaced. i replaced the clutch, inner hub, outer hub,and clutch cable cuz it looked old.got clutch adjustment behind side case as close as possible being that the alignment mark on the left side is non existent cuz that piece of crankcase is broken.any ideas or comments greatly appreciated! i think its a adjustment prob on the clutch it self but not sure. Thanks Gurnzz
